David Whitehead - Director

David Whitehead - Director

Responsibilities: Key account management, business management, compliance.

When I'm not working, which is probably most of the time, I like to spend time with my wife Cathie, enjoying walks with our dog Roxy, which often end with a visit to a country pub and a pint of real ale! I play golf when I can and love to travel to new places and familiar old ones. I really enjoy watching cricket too, and also cooking, usually with an open bottle of wine .

My claim to fame is that I once caddied for Nick faldo, back when he was a young professional, so I like to think I played some part in his subsequent success (even though I was only 10 and could barely get his bag off the ground).

I really enjoy my work at Allied and stay as active as I can helping clients with their vehicle requirements. I'm pleased to be still very much 'at the coal-face' and wouldn't want it any other way. No two clients are the same so it is always rewarding finding them the right solutions.

Paul Holroyd - Senior Account Manage

Paul Holroyd - Senior Account Manager

Responsibilities: Key corporate account management, regulated consumer support.

I'm a family man man with two lovely children, Aidan and Alicia. When I'm not doing Dad stuff I'm usually working. I have 15 years automotive and leasing industry experience, the last 10 years of which have been with Allied. In my role as a Senior Account Manager, I manage customer credit lines, advise on product, legal and tax stuff, source vehicles for clients fleets and generally act as a remote 'Fleet Manager' of sorts. I really enjoy the relationship part of the job and still help the same clients I did when I started with the Company, which is very satisfying.

On the rare occasion that I do get some spare time away from family and work, I like to sing. I am a classically trained Tenor, performing at concerts and functions locally (…and am available for weddings etc…).

Ben Trappe - S.M.E. Fleet Account Manager

Responsibilities: Key corporate account management, business fleet support.

I am very much a family man and enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys. When I do get some spare time, I am a keen cyclist and love to get out and explore the countryside on two wheels. When I am not riding, my other passion is golf and after a long career as a PGA Professional I still enjoy getting out on the golf course with friends and clients alike.

Working at Allied is unique as you do really appreciate the sense of being part of a team. We are all striving to get the best outcomes for our customers, providing fleet solutions that give them cost efficient and optimised fleets. In my role as a Fleet Account Manager, I am on a continuous personal development program, which helps me to support customers with the most up to date guidance on vehicle supply, funding, whole life cost appraisals and taxation.

Anneka Cocker - Contracts Manager

Anneka Cocker - Contracts Manager

Responsibilities: Contract fulfilment, logistics, customer care, compliance support.

As well as being Allied's Contracts Manager, I am a third Dan black belt in Taekwondo, which I also used to teach. (So make sure you get your documents back on time ). However, as a busy Mum of two (or three if you count my husband, Steve!), these days most of my free time is spent tidying up after my family!

I like football (…I support Liverpool…), though I dislike watching my team lose all the time . It's great working at Allied - it feels like an extended family - including both colleagues and customers, many of whom we have been looking after for years. We are a small team, but work well together, which makes the job very enjoyable. I like to think that if you enjoy your job it comes across to your customers… because it's nice to be important, but its more important to be nice !

Helen Theed - In-Life Support Manager

Helen Theed - In-Life Support Manager

Responsibilities: Customer care, in-life issues, renewal management, on-line customer access support.

I started at Allied on a temporary contract in 2011 and am still here - yaay! .

My role has evolved alongside the growth of the company and with the development of our Myfleetmonitor on-line client fleet management portal. My primary role as In-Life Support Manager is to help customers with any issues they encounter throughout the life of their contracts. They arrive at my door, which is always open! (…it's about the contract and the vehicle's performance, though given my title it's not surprising that I am often confused with being a personal lifestyle counsellor - ha-ha!).

Most of my leisure time is spent fell walking, at the moment mainly around the Lake District, as I am attempting to complete all 214 Wainrights. As of 2015 I am about 30% there, so all in all it's proving a more onerous task than first envisaged…
