Louise Cook returned to the World Rally Championship after a four year absence by competing in the WRC Neste Rally in Finland earlier this month.
Louise became the world’s first female to achieve a non-gender FIA Rally Championship title in 2012, but has since spent a frustrating few years battling the challenges of funding while also recovering from the effects of a collar bone steel plate removal from a previous injury that began pressing dangerously close to her Subclavian artery.
Allied Vehicle Contracts is delighted to be helping support Louise as she once again sets out to pursue her WRC dreams. Louise had an encouraging start in her new Ford Fiesta R2 (left hand drive – blimey is it not difficult enough already!!) completing stages of the Finnish event in competitive times, especially given Louise’s time away.
We’ll keep you posted on Louise’s progress…..View All Posts
